Rural and remote mental health

Cases of mental health illnesses are present in rural communities, as much as they are present in cities. However, access in rural areas can sometimes be limited. Online Psychologist Australia makes it easier for people in rural communities to access quality care through telehealth.

Support for everyone, anywhere in Australia

Everyone deserves access to quality mental health support. That’s why Online Psychologist Australia makes it simple. Our fully accredited psychologists offer telehealth sessions designed around your schedule, so you can get the support you need, anytime and anywhere.

How it works

Getting started is simple. We’re here to ensure you can access professional mental health support quickly and easily.

Step one

Choose the type of support you need, select a psychologist, pick a time that suits you and complete a short intake form.

Step two

Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send you an email and SMS with your appointment details and a secure session link.

Step three

At your scheduled time, log in from wherever you feel comfortable, your home, office or anywhere else that works for you.

Easier mental health access for rural areas

Our aim is to have better mental health outcomes for all Australians, especially people living in rural communities where support may not be always accessible.

Online appointments reduce some of the barriers people face when accessing healthcare. They are also as effective as in-person therapy1

All appointments are private and confidential.

What they say about us

"The privacy and comfort of having sessions online, but still face-to-face over Zoom made me feel so much more at ease. I was able to open-up much quicker and felt like I was making progress after just my first session."
