Matt’s philosophy is heavily based on the need for balance in one’s life, incorporating both your mental and physical health. He is committed to promoting positive mental health to men and overcome the stigma of seeking help, and currently researching ways to engage with fathers to promote positive health behaviours to their young children.
He developed a passion for psychology while working in different parts of the health industry, including as a paramedic.
As a psychologist, Matt has worked in remote, regional and metropolitan settings and have enjoyed working with clients across the full age spectrum. His tailored approach to treatment will help you move in the direction that you want.
Matt is a father to a daughter in the early years of primary school, a Rugby Union devotee, and maintains his own health by climbing mountains in different and exotic parts of the world, and competing in ironman triathlon races.
