Can I receive Medicare rebates for my sessions?

Yes.  All Australians with a valid Medicare card are eligible to receive Medicare rebates for 10 sessions with a psychologist through telehealth, every year. 

You will need a GP referral and a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) in order to receive Medicare rebates. Once you have your referral and MHTP, please send them to support@onlinepsychologist.com.au.

Your psychologist will process your Medicare rebate for you after your session. Medicare then sends the funds into the bank account which you have linked to your Medicare number—this is usually done by Medicare within 24 hours.
