I am a Psychologist and I focus on helping couples with their relationships.

Relationship Therapy

I am trained in the Gottman Method which is a relationship therapy backed by decades of research. The Gottman Method aims to enhance intimacy and friendship, handle conflicts effectively, and create a shared meaningful life. It tailors research principles to each couple's unique patterns and challenges,

I have also completed training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples.

Emotionally focused couples therapy can be helpful for couples who are dealing with expression of emotions and understanding emotions the way they are expressed. Couples get stuck in hurtful relationship conflict cycles for some time which causes damage. The cycle might have caused one person to completely shut down, or the other person to become anxious and to seek frantically to repair emotional wounds and ruptures. They both might feel really hurt and wonder if their relationship can ever be restored. EFT helps to improve communication and manage conflict in a healthier way. It helps couples identify and to stop their repeated cycles of conflict.

Neurodiversity in Relationships

I frequently see couples where aspects of neurodiversity impact on the relationship. Neurodiversity encompasses the natural variations in neurological differences found in everyone identified as neurodivergent.

I work with couples to help them to understand and work with the differences in their relationship, in order to improve communication and emotional connection
