For 30 years Crawford has had the privilege of working with all age groups. She has worked in large organisations, however, for the last 26 years she has primarily been in private practice.

 

Crawford’s areas of specialization have included interpersonal issues, couples therapy, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, workplace stressors, Ante and Postnatal depression, domestic violence and general stress related issues.

 

Crawford utilises a number of therapeutic approaches when working with a person to address an individuals particular needs. Some of these include Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Sensorimotor Therapy, Mindfulness and Relaxation. All of which are evidence-based treatments.

Crawford believes that a deep understanding of a person and their aspirations are crucial to overcoming difficulties and achieving their goals - and she cherishes helping clients find that greater happiness.
