Angela is an AHPRA Registered Clinical Psychologist and a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. She has 20 years of professional experience in clinical and academic settings in Australia, Singapore, Greece and Cyprus.
Angela has held resident and senior clinical psychologist positions in hospitals and community sectors, as well as operated her own private practice. She has extensive experience assessing and managing a wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders, psychological issues, and health conditions for adults and adolescents, couples, and groups.
Angela specializes in cognitive therapies, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT); Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT); Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), as well as Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her philosophy, inspired by the CBT approach, revolves around self-improvement, resilience and self-actualisation of the individual. She is passionate about cultivating change and personal growth in a collaborative and empathic manner through and effective therapeutic partnership.
Angela has expertise in working with adults and adolescents with depression and bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders and stress, eating disorders and weight-management, emotion-regulation and personality disorders, sleep disorders, adjustment difficulties and health related issues, as well as academic issues, self-esteem, and relationship issues.
